SEMA 2021 cars-PhilStar Wheels

As the current coronavirus pandemic hinders almost every auto show around the world in 2020, this year seems to be the story of hobbyists and car enthusiasts making a comeback.

Auto shows that will return in 2021 include the Special Equipment Market Association (SEMA) exhibition, which showcases various concepts and structures of automakers to showcase the greatest potential of their cars outside the exhibition halls. In short, this is an opportunity for car brands and aftermarket companies to make crazy things. As they say, imagination is the limit.

Given the one-year gap that occurred, you can bet that the automaker has done everything possible to let our gearbox experience high-quality tuning and construction. The event will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada from November 2 to 5, 2021.

Although the SEMA Show does not have any clear themes, this year saw a collective land and off-road approach, reflecting the Americans' taste for adventure using their beloved drilling rigs.

In other words, the following is the famous version that appeared at the SEMA show in 2021.

American automaker Chevrolet embraced the dark side at the SEMA booth in 2021. The leader of the Bowtie brand is Beast; it is not a presidential luxury sedan, but an off-road concept car of the same name. At first glance, the beast looks like a disposable machine, similar to General Motors’ line of defense military vehicles. However, it actually rides on a short-bed Silverado platform, powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8, can produce 650 horses, and has undergone extensive modifications to reach today's level.

The next batch of Chevrolet cars will have a black bow tie badge, each of which represents every corner of the company's SUV product line.

The Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 Overlanding concept car uses a full-size SUV and turns it into an off-road vehicle, equipped with air suspension, 18-inch lock ring wheels and 33-inch tires. It is also equipped with a roof tent for you to choose to stay outdoors at night.

On the other hand, the Chevrolet Colorado Z71 version has transformed the American version of the mid-size truck, subtly turning it into an overnight camper with a canopy and a roof tent. However, this did not happen overnight, because this Colorado Z71 is equipped with Trail Boss off-road kit.

My favorite model is the Chevrolet Silverado High Country Midnight Concept. Although the truck does not have any extras in terms of body kit, the Midnight Concept car is equipped with an all-black body-when we say black, we mean real black, including 20-inch wheels. Could this be an upcoming appearance package? maybe.

Last but not least, Chevrolet has moved away from off-road and land use through the Chevrolet suburban street concept. Equipped with an air suspension, the SUV has been lowered and paired with a set of low-profile street tires on custom 24-inch wheels. Add a bit of all-black kindness, and I can't help but imagine it as a mafia car.

Just like Chevrolet, American automaker Ford also participated in the 2021 SEMA auto show vigorously. But unlike Chevrolet's huge and burly vehicle, Blue Oval offers a variety of products, from mild to wild.

The main attraction of Ford is of course its most popular duo, Bronco and Bronco Sport. Bucking Horse has a total of six models from different aftermarket companies, with stronger off-road capabilities and more styles. In the case of Tucci Hot Rods Bronco's creation, it is a set of terrible Mattracks 88 series four-tracks.

Most Ford Bronco products are equipped with suspension and wheel upgrades, such as Bronco RTR Fun-Runner and Bronco/Bronco Sport Baja forged by LGE-CTS Motorsports. However, BDS Suspensions even modified a two-door Bronco to turn it into a pickup truck equipped with search and rescue functions, such as double winches, custom bumpers with recovery hooks, and air compressors under the hood. And lots of lights.

It's not just Bronco that gets the attention of the aftermarket at SEMA 2021. Ford also provides more Tremor decorations suitable for off-road use for the American Rangers for more difficult trips. The Attitude Performance Outdoor Magazine Ranger Tremor is equipped with auxiliary lighting, a 6-inch suspension lift and a Watergen atmospheric water generation system, which uses moisture in the air to make drinking water.

Perhaps the most peculiar structure at the 2021 SEMA show is the Hypertech F-150 Hybrid Lariat. Although it looks like a typical land truck on the outside, this crude machine is actually equipped with an electric grill, refrigerator/freezer, sink, ice maker, washer/dryer, etc.-all powered by 7.2 kW Powered by the Pro car system.

Ford also showcased two Mustang flavors at the 2021 SEMA show. The gorgeous All Star Mustang EcoBoost HPP uses eye-catching custom turquoise paint with subtle white and orange accents, while the M2 Motoring Mustang GT is a track monster powered by a 750-horsepower V8 engine. Its forced induction comes from a supercharger. A kit of Ford performance parts.

The controversial Mustang Mach-E also had a different performance at the SEMA show. It was processed by Shelby, but its direct emissions were zero. However, in addition to the obvious design cues of Shelby Mustangs, the Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT concept car also uses suspension tuning and a set of 20-inch Monoblock wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires.

Nissan is one of two Japanese automakers to launch heavy-duty off-road vehicles at the 2021 SEMA auto show. Frontier and Pathfinder, known as Project Overland models, are both regarded as American versions of Navara and Terra, and their SEMA clothing uses Nismo Off-Road parts.

As a family car suitable for adventure, Project Overland Pathfinder has made many special modifications, such as the Nismo Off Road 2-inch lifting kit prototype, using a customized high-capacity single-tube air shock absorber purchased by Bilstein. The vehicle uses custom 18×8-inch Nismo Off Road wheels fitted with Maxxis RAZR AT tires.

At the same time, Project Overland Frontier builds on the new 2022 Nissan Frontier and its sturdy chassis to provide more off-road capabilities, still provided by Nismo Off Road. Major upgrades include an off-road performance suspension kit, adjusted to an additional 2 inches of lift at the front, and an SPC front upper control arm with xAxis sealed flexible joints to increase travel.

At the rear, Nismo Off Road performance shock absorbers with remote fuel tanks work in conjunction with custom Nismo Off Road rear leaf springs to provide 2 inches of lift and greater carrying capacity. 17 × 7.5 inch Nismo Off Road AXIS wheels with 285/70-17 Maxxis RAZR MT tires complete the package and more.

You may know that Sung Kang is Han in the "Fast and Furious" series, but this actor is actually a big fan of Nissan Z. Sung Kang's DocZ version is on display at the SEMA show in 2021. Inspired by the 1971 East Africa Safari Rally Championship, the DocZ is equipped with an adjusted L24 with a custom head, triple Weber carbohydrate and custom exhaust, which produces undisclosed horsepower and torque. It is also equipped with a set of 16-inch "78 Nanakorobi Yaoki" wheels-this is a tribute to the Kobe Seiko style wheels that are standard on the Z432.

Of course, the latest Z car will make its debut at the 2021 SEMA show without any modification. However, the sports coupe has joined the "Father of the New Z Plan", Nissan Chief Product Specialist Hiroshi Tamura.

Another Toyota car manufacturer follows the big and burly theme of other car brands. Using its series of trucks made in the United States, and the recently launched third-generation Tundra and Hilux cousin Tacoma, Toyota came up with four off-road explorers.

The first is Tacozilla. This pickup truck modified camper is inspired by Chinook campers in the 70s and 80s, with a retro-style exterior and modern styling. It has everything inside, including kitchen sink, fully insulated interior, teak sauna-style floor, full bathroom with hot shower, kitchen with stove and a wall art that can be converted into a 3D printed dining table with backlight.

Marty Schwerter of Toyota Motorsport Garage made the Toyota TRD Desert Chase Tundra concept a reality at the 2021 SEMA auto show in time. The average machine is designed to be a support vehicle for off-road racing, so it is very powerful thanks to its TRD-designed long-travel suspension, wide-body kit and a set of lightweight 18-inch forged aluminum wheels from Method Race Wheels , Wrapped in 37-inch General Tire Grabber X3 all-terrain tires, etc.

On the other hand, Toyota also allows its customers to experience the services that the new Tundra can provide through the accessory version displayed at the SEMA show. One of its featured accessories includes a 3-inch TRD lift kit, which provides an additional 2.6 inches of additional ground clearance, and increases the approach angle, departure angle, and breakthrough angle by 5 degrees, 1 degree, and 2 degrees, respectively.

After Tundra is on the market, all the accessories you see here will be available at Toyota dealers in the United States.

As for Tacoma, Toyota has partnered with Cruiser Outfitters to bring us a land-based version of the mid-size truck. Equipped with Old Man Emu BP-51 adjustable suspension system, Old Man Emu's upper control arm and rear suspension have increased Dakar leaf springs. Other kits include ARB Summit Combo Bar with fog lights, Expedition One dual swing rear bumper system and Ultra HD skid plate system, and rocker protection/rock slider. It is also equipped with a Yakima roof tent at the back.
