Two modern outdoor leisure and lifestyle innovators have joined hands to create a special-edition camper trailer suitable for relaxation and adventure. The unorthodox trailer manufacturer Taxa Outdoors and the hammock staple Kammok have teamed up to create a limited edition off-grid mini camper that is more than just fancy colors and co-branding. Kammok is loaded in its all-in-one hammock tent, hammock stand, and two-person hammock, allowing campers to sleep in the suspended happiness and on the trailer. Mini trailers overflow in comfort in the wild.

With years of development, Woolly Bear trailers have maintained a lightweight and versatile design, which means that when the tailgate equipment is transported to the stadium, it is as convenient as in an all-terrain base camp. The new Kammok version has been improved in both aspects, providing more space for hanging out and relaxing.

The most useful additions in the new trailer are the three Kammok hammock essentials: Mantis one-piece hammock tent, Roo double hammock and the new Outpost hammock stand. The Mantis Hammock is a single-person suspended shelter weighing less than 3 pounds (1.4 kg), including insect nets and rain covers, which provide full protection for overnight camping. According to Kammok, it was set up in just 60 seconds.

The foldable Outpost bracket designed specifically for the Kammock Edition trailer is fixed to the laser-cut connection point on the Woolly Bear cargo deck to hang Mantis, two-person Roo hammock or other hammock models. The trailer is only equipped with one Outpost stand, but users can purchase additional stands to turn Woolly Bear into a social hammock center, which can be equipped with up to six Outpost hammocks.

The first 20 Kammok Edition buyers will also receive a limited edition cooperation field blanket, and all buyers will receive a limited edition T-shirt. The standalone swiftlet stand shown in some photos is not part of the accompanying bag, but it is a smart accessory for those who want to make the most of the free swinging hammock in destinations where trees may be lacking.

The layout of the Woolly Bear trailer itself is the same as usual, designed to carry a two- or three-person rooftop tent (RTT), as well as propane, cooking utensils, and camping and adventure supplies. The Kammok version of the trailer adds steel wheels and Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tires for better off-road performance.

Woolly Bear campers can sleep in a rooftop tent (sold separately) fixed to a height on a riser, leaving a 600-pound (272 kg) cargo hold open for hauling equipment such as kayaks or surfboards. Or luggage. A self-catering kitchen equipped with a pull-down worktop provides a dedicated cooking space, while a series of additional cabinets, drawers and storage corners can accommodate all other camping equipment, sports equipment and general supplies.

The Woolly Bear's front drawer is sized for refrigerators or portable refrigerators/freezers, and includes a 12-volt connector for easy access to the battery provided by the vehicle owner and easily stored in the battery box installed on the nose. The front panel of that drawer has a Kammok version with some bright orange paint that matches the hammock.

The Kammok version of Woolly Bear starts at $13,715, which is less than $2,000 higher than the standard $11,800 basic Woolly Bear. For a limited time, Taxa offers Kammok Edition reservations with a low deposit of $500, which is a quarter of the $2,000 deposit required by the standard Woolly Bear. Options include a three-person Thule Tepui RTT, an awning and a propane bag.
