Food establishments in Greene County are inspected one to three times per year, depending on the type of food served, the population served, the difficulty level of food preparation, and past history.

Issues found during inspections fall into two categories: priority and non-priority. Priority violations are issues that can have a direct impact on the safety of the food and can lead to a restaurant getting shut down if they persist. Non-priority violations are usually centered on things like sanitation or building maintenance.

Am Donuts And Coffee, 1501 E. Pythian St. 06/17/2022 - Re-Inspection; Result: Permitted with Reinspection. Cold holding violation has not been corrected. Reinspection required to verify cooler adjusted/repaired/replaced to hold 41F or below. Priority Violations Found: 1. Observed half and half at 46F, and air at 48F in 2 door under counter cooler. Adjust/repair/replace unit to hold 41F or below. Reinspection required. Nonpriority Violations Found: 0.

Bervin White Memorial Ball Park, 711 E. Miller Road, Republic. 06/16/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Permitted with Reinspection. Discussed sanitizing methods, hair restraint requirements and date marking requirements. Priority Violations Found: 1. OBSERVED:  MOUSE DROPPINGS FOUND IN CUPBOARDS AND FLIES IN FACILITY.Nonpriority Violations Found: 1. BSERVED:  NO TEST STRIPS FOR CHLORINE SANITIZER.

Braum's Ice Cream #274, 604 N. Glenstone Ave. 06/23/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Active. Priority Violations Found: 0. Nonpriority Violations Found: 2. Observed daylight shine through bottom of back exterior door. Observed grease condensation build up on the fire suppression system lines on grill vent hood.

Casey's General Store #3011, 2805 N. Kansas Expy. 06/22/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Permitted with Reinspection. Phylicia was person in charge at time of inspection. The open display refrigerator near cash register needs to monitored closely. A reinspection will be made on or after 7-20-2022 to check for correction. Priority Violations Found: 0. Nonpriority Violations Found: 3. Observed: Mop heads and other stuff placed by back door to minimize rain water running in when it rains. This is due to drain outside of door being plugged. Observed: There was not a covered trashcan in the women's restroom. Observed: There was a substantial buildup in urinal in men's restroom.

Centerfold Bar, Grill, Cabaret, 2800 W. Sunshine St. 06/17/2022 - Re-Inspection; Result: Active. Priority item corrected, front of house bar cooler holding creamer now holding less than 41F as required. Priority Violations Found: 0. Nonpriority Violations Found: 1. Observed gap at bottom of kitchen door leading to outside. Correct by next routine inspection.

Courtyard By Marriott, Bistro. 06/23/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Permitted with Reinspection. Tara was person in charge at time of inspection. A reinspection will be made on or after 6-30-2022 to check for compliance. Priority Violations Found: 1. Observed: Several small ants on counter and near liquor storage. Nonpriority Violations Found: 2. Observed: The hand sink by dish line has a leaking drain line. Observed: There were no paper towels and kitchen and front counter hand sinks.

El Imperial Food Truck, . 06/17/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Suspend, Public. Permit suspended due to imminent health hazard. The water pump is broken, therefore no water is available at hand sink for hand washing or 3-vat sink for warewashing. Priority Violations Found: 1. Observed no running hot or cold water available at hand sink or 3-vat sink due to pump being broken. Permit suspended until a re-opening inspection is conducted once pump is repaired. Nonpriority Violations Found: 0.

El Imperial Food Truck, . 06/23/2022 - Suspended Permit Reinspection; Result: Approved. Permit re-instated, priority item corrected. Pump is repaired and there is now running hot and cold water available at hand wash sink and 3-vat sink. Priority Violations Found: 0. Nonpriority Violations Found: 0.

Hy-Vee Deli Kitchen/Club Room, 1720 W. Battlefield Rd. 06/22/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Active. Priority Violations Found: 2. Observed sanitizer spray bottle touching rolls on prep table, bottle was hanging so nozzle was against roll. Rolls voluntarily discarded. Observed flies in deli area; control by eliminating harborage conditions such as open trash cans, wiping cloths, etc. and using pest control methods. Nonpriority Violations Found: 0.

Kim Dynasty Sushi Bar & Grill, 3637 E. Sunshine St. 06/21/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Active. Priority Violations Found: 0. Nonpriority Violations Found: 1. Observed multiple single-service articles stored directly on the back hallway floor. Required all single-service articles are stored off the floor.

Kum & Go #1463, 3434 W. Chestnut Expy. 06/17/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Active. Priority Violations Found: 0. Nonpriority Violations Found: 2. OBSERVED:  HOT WATER BELOW 100F IN WOMEN'S RESTROON.OBSERVED:  METERED FAUCETS PROVIDE 3 - 5 SECONDS OF WATER.

Lamplighter Inn South, 1772 S. Glenstone Ave. 06/17/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Permitted with Reinspection. Priority Violations Found: 1. Observed:  Potentially Hazardous foods ( yogurt 48F, milk 44F, cream cheese 49F) not be held at or below 41F in the self service cooler.  Items were voluntarily discarded. Nonpriority Violations Found: 0.

A reinspection will be made on or after 6-28-2022 to check for compliance. Should restrict people entering kitchen to necessary staff. Priority Violations Found: 1. Observed: There was evidence of mice in dry storage area. Please clean up area and take actions to minimize mice. A reinspection will be made on or after 6-28-2022 to check for compliance. Nonpriority Violations Found: 2. Observed: There were two boxes of single service cups setting on floor of dry storage area. Observed: There were two packages of hot dogs thawing on counter at room temperature. These were put into freezer prior to exit.

Smokin' Bob's BBQ, 2100 W. Republic St. 06/17/2022 - Re-Inspection; Result: Active. Priority item corrected; double door cooler now at 41F. Priority Violations Found: 0. Nonpriority Violations Found: 0.

USA Investments Mo206, 5505 S. State Highway Ff, Battlefield. 06/21/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Permitted with Reinspection. Priority Violations Found: 2. Observed two tamales in hot hold box at 108F. Both voluntarily discarded. Education provided on checking temperature at least every 2 hours and reheating to 165F within the 2 hours. Corrected on-site, Observed tornados on roller grill at 105-128F. Education given on taking temperature with sanitized thin probe thermometer before moving in front of 'still cooking' sign. Manager placed tornados behind sign to continue reheating. Follow up will occur on 6/24/2022. Nonpriority Violations Found: 0.

Walmart #0138, Deli. 06/16/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Active. No violations were observed during the inspection. Priority Violations Found: 0. Nonpriority Violations Found: 0

Walmart Supercenter #86 Deli, 2825 N. Kansas Expy. 06/22/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Permitted with Reinspection. Gavin was employee in deli at time of inspection. A reinspection will be made on or after 6/29/2022 to check on fly issue and other violations. Priority Violations Found: 1. Observed: At least 8 flies were observed on counters and in front hand sink in deli area. A reinspection will be made on or after 6-29-2022 to check for correction. Nonpriority Violations Found: 2. Observed: Out of hand sink at back hand sink. Observed: Some areas of floor in deli area were not clean.

Wire Road Brewing Company, 4453 S. Timbercreek Ave Battlefield. 06/17/2022 - Routine Inspection; Result: Active. Priority Violations Found: 0. Nonpriority Violations Found: 1. No chlorine test strips available for bar sanitizer, only quat strips were on-site. Ensure test strips are obtained and that the sanitizer is tested each time it is made up.
